Along with Jasper Wong’s appearance in the CARBON forums and a live painting session he ran a solo exhibition at No Vacancy Gallery. Jasper Wong is a funny guy. Sometimes he wears a hot pink, head-to-toe lycra bodysuit. He draws men dressed as women or babies. He has a DeLorean tattoo. He’s obsessed with lasers, sailor tatts and neon colours and his show A Corny Concerto presented a peep into the world of a hilarious creative genius. A range of canvases were on show, along with some smaller scale circular pieces which at first glance looked abstract, but on closer look were very… erotic.
